This is an autohide quick-launch application. It consists of eight panels, two in each corner of the desktop, beginning with number one at the top of the right side and going clockwise to number eight at the right of the top. Each panel can hold up to fifteen icons, so a total of 120 applications can be managed and launched. The panels autosize depending on the number of icons they contain. With the exception of the two bottom panels, all panels are exposed by moving the mouse to within 5 pixels of the border. Because of the usual appearance of the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen, the two bottom panels are exposed more than five pixels from the bottom, to prevent a conflict. The mouse position is monitored continually by a timer. This application allows organizing the applications to be launched, such as graphics applications in one panel, multimedia in another, etc.
The application is controlled from an icon in the system tray.
To add an application to a launchbar, right click the icon in the tray and choose Add Application form the menu. On the dialog that appears, enter the number of the panel to which you want to add. Enter a title for the tooltip, up to twenty characters. Choose the opening windowstate and click add. Then choose from the file dialog.
To change an existing application, choose Change Application from the menu, click on the icon you want to change and proceed as before.
To delete an item, choose Delete Application for the menu and click on the icon to be deleted.
Besides using Close from the menu, the application can be closed by hitting Alt+X.
