TechNES is a Nintendo Entertainment System/Nintendo Family Computer emulator for Windows
(from Windows 98 and above) or other compatible operating systems/APIs (such as
ReactOS and WINE). It is based on the source code of Nessie 1.02 (written and copyrighted by
Martin Strand) and has been released to the general public under the GNU GPL, version 3.
This program is free to use, free to redistribute and free to modify.
TechNES was designed to be very modular, but is designed for Windows systems only; it
cannot be converted into a Linux, UNIX or Macintosh application without the help of some
3rd-party program(s). Even though this is a very basic program, it should serve the needs
of casual users. However, the author of this program will not be held responsible for any
possible damages this program may cause to any computer user.
